Author's Note: 105 words. I have no idea where this came from.
She loved the way she was when she was with him. She felt completely herself. She didn't have to pretend to be something that she was not. He loved her for her like she loved him for him. She was his Cilla and he was her Jim. They were each others through the vows they made on a warm early May day. For better or for worse. In sickness and in health. Till death do they part. Time and again. No matter what the doubters might say. For they did not matter one bit. It was what was in his and hers hearts that did. |

"Have you ever thought someone was trying to tell us something?" Dru asked thoughtfully.
There was no use trying to pretend not to have an idea what she was talking about. She would see right through him. "Yes," he replied, pulling her closer to him.
Dru sighed happily and leaned into him, resting her head on his shoulder. "I'm tired of pretending this isn't here," she whispered.
So was he, but he wasn't completely ready to give up the fight either. "People are going to talk." Not that he really thought that would matter to her.
"Let them," she said simply as she leaned forward and kissed him. |
